Common Questions
Answers to questions families often ask about residency at Tender Larch.
What kind of care do you provide?
We provide non-medical residential care for elderly individuals who need daily support with personal routines, mobility, and companionship. Staff help with bathing, dressing, meals, medication reminders, and housekeeping. We are not a medical facility and do not provide nursing or clinical care. Residents should be generally stable and not require intensive medical supervision.
Who is the care suitable for?
Our residence is designed for elderly individuals who value a peaceful, countryside setting and may need assistance with daily routines but do not require medical nursing. Many residents find the natural surroundings restorative and appreciate a slower pace of life. We welcome those who enjoy gardens, simple activities, and the company of a small community.
What does the monthly fee include?
The monthly fee covers accommodation, three meals daily, housekeeping, laundry, daily personal care assistance, and participation in all programs and outings. For the private cottage option, a dedicated aide is also included. Personal items like medications, clothing, and specific toiletries are not included. Visits to external healthcare providers are arranged by families.
Can family members visit?
Family members are welcome to visit at any time during the day. We encourage families to join residents for meals, garden walks, or program activities. Overnight stays can be arranged for family members in nearby guesthouses if they wish to spend extended time in the area. There is no schedule limiting visits.
How do I arrange a visit to see the residence?
We invite families to visit in person before making any decision. You can call us at +66 53 829 461 or send a message through our contact form to schedule a tour. During your visit, you will see the rooms, gardens, shared areas, and meet some of the staff. Many families find it helpful to visit in the late morning when residents are gathered in the common areas or garden.
Is there a waiting period for residency?
Availability depends on which option you are considering. Shared rooms sometimes have a short waiting period, while the private cottage is occasionally available immediately. We recommend reaching out as early as possible to discuss timing and to schedule a visit.
